About Motu Moie
Motu Moie is a 20 acre private Tahiti island on the edge of the reef, surrounding the Tahitian islands of Taha’a and Raiatea, in the country of French Polynesia. It is covered with coconut palms, and other tropical trees and plants, and surrounded by warm tropical waters of the lagoon. It is ideal for a private island paradise for family and friends, or a perfect location for a luxury resort.
Current Accommodations
Accommodations include Owners bungalow, 3 Guest bungalows, Living/Dining bungalow, Caretaker’s house, Sports Bungalow and Utility buildings. Bungalows are constructed in the Tahitian style, with palm covered roofs. While maintaining their traditional look, they have modern conveniences including furnishings, solar supplied electricity and coral filtered fresh water.
Activities
Motu Moie offers and endless variety of activities, to keep even the most ardent sports enthusiast happy. The sports bungalow includes equipment for snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, reef and boat fishing, spearfishing, water skiing, sailing, and even golf with floating balls. The nearby islands offer excursions on land and sea. Charters are available for deep sea fishing for Marlin and Tuna. Swimming and walking on the reef are both relaxing and exciting. Nearby restaurants offer casual and gourmet dining.
