MOTU MOIE ISLAND RESORT

A Motu Moie Island Resort would be encouraged by local government officials. This 20 acre privately owned Tahitian Island / Motu, is an ideal location for a Tahiti Resort. The current structures can be used by guests and workers while construction is underway. There are currently four bungalows with bath, and large living room with fully equipped kitchen, all in the Tahitian style. Other buildings include garage with machines and tools for building and repairs, back-up generator building for emergency power, sports bungalow with equipment for water sport activities, and a caretaker house. Fresh water is supplied to structures from the islands own fresh water well. Electricity is supplied by solar power. Internet and phone service is also available. It is located a short flight from the capital city of Papeete, to Raiatea island, and a 30 minute lagoon boat ride from the airport, to the motu. The city of Uturoa, on Raiatea, is the second largest city in the country of French Polynesia. There are construction supplies and experienced workers available here, for building the resort.
